Sunday Selections #819

Sunday Selections was originally brought to us by Kim, of Frogpondsrock, as an ongoing meme where participants could post previously unused photos languishing in their files. Huge thanks to Cie who gave me this wonderful Sunday Selections image.

The meme was then continued by River at Drifting through life.  Sadly she has now stepped aside (though she will join us some weeks), and I have accepted the mantle.

The rules are so simple as to be almost non-existent.  Post some photos under the title Sunday Selections and link back to me. Sorry I still haven't succeeded in working out how to do a blog hop. Clicking on any of the photos will make them embiggen.

I usually run with a theme. Each month Charlotte (MotherOwl) gives us a colour of the month.  This month it is:

There is not much in our garden that is blooming in that colour but I turned, as I so often do, to the sky.

I hope your week finds you 'in the pink'.

  1. Laura Eno - Yes, you so often have the gorgeous pink and orange skies! I love your photos, since you do the work of getting up for the dawn splendor and let the midnight owls, like me, sleep a while longer.
I hope the week ahead is cooler for you, filled with more peace and less appointments, and okay-ish on the pain scale. Give my homage to the furry overlords and accept my love for yourself, my sister across the seas.

    1. Laura Eno: Thank you. A physio appointment, a medical appointment and LL. Not toooo bad. And the mornings at least are cooler. I hope that work and your political insanity gives you a break. Much love.

  8. I am definitely in the pink this week and happy to be so. The cataract worry is over, my family people are all well, the skies are blue and sunny. Life is good at Rivers Flat. I love your gentle pinks and golds here.

  23. Es un cielo precioso y muy diferente a los colores que vemos por aquí, al Sur de Europa. Así que a disfrutar del mismo, que ya habrá tiempo de disfrutar de las plantas cuando florezcan.

  25. Love your "pretty flower pink" skies! We rarely get to see them at our place because we're in the shadow of trees to the east and mountains to the west; but that glowing pink is a wonderful treat when it appears. :-)

    1. Diane Henders: We are lucky and have largely unobstructed views to both the east and the west. And yes, the rising and setting of the sun is a treat for me.
