Oops.

I do hope this is a (very) temporary glitch, but at the moment I cannot access my reading list so I cannot see any of your posts.  I follow so many blogs that I rely on the reading list to see when/whether posts have been added.

Hopefully normal service will be resumed quickly.

  9. I hope it's only temporary. I haven't posted as I've been extremely busy and by evening, I'm just too tired to bother posting.

  10. Fingers and toes crossed. It's not the same without your beautiful presence here and throughout blogland.

    2. No, it's not small - we miss you - I do at least, and I think I speak for many. <3

  12. What would I do without the reading list!

    1. Joanne Noragon: Just what I am thinking. I have found a time consuming and fairly impractical work around which I hope not to have to use.

  13. I hope the problem has been resolved already - or soon will be. I've bookmarked all the blogs I read, but it doesn't help me find all of them because I think of them by the blogger's name, not the blog name! So I really rely on my reading list too, and it would be a real problem if I lost it. Good luck.

  14. To me, this is less an, "oops," and more a, "what will go wrong with blogger next!" except that i don't want to know the answer to that.

  15. I hope this doesn't have to do with them scaling back Feedburner. I moved my list to Bloglovin hoping to avoid the headache. Hope this is just temporary, EC.

  18. My reading list is a drop down menu form the three horizontal bars at the top left of my screen, but if that disappears I can still find you all in my "favourites" list which is a star with menu lines up in the top tool bar. To add to this list, when I find a new blog I like, I open the home page of that blog, click on the tiny star with a + sign on it, up in the tool bar and a drop down menu appears where I click done and it gets added to the list. I've done that since I first learned of blogs so I never lose anybody.

    1. River: I have a list (a long one) of the blogs I follow. It DOESN'T tell me which ones have been updated.

      Delete
    2. Where do you have that list? Mine is a bloglist-gadget (2 actually) in my right sidebar, there for everyone to see, and nicely updating. I can't see yours, but do not remember if I used to be able to see it.
Just for your info, I have continued my long story about Sarah and her children.

      Delete
    3. Charlotte (MotherOwl): I access that list from my dashboard. I follow far too many blogs to put it on my sidebar. I will follow you home in a minute and read that story - which may be the way I comment on blogs for a little while. While other people have the same problem blogger is not rushing to fix it.

  19. I thought I would wait until now to ask. Is it fixed?

  20. Oh dear, troubles of blogger - just this week I too noticed my list of bloggers have diminished in length, however it now says 'all', so I click on that and can see my list now...was a bit of a problem when it first happened. Hope yours come right within a day or two.

  23. Same here... my reading list won't come up????

    1. Rian: I am sorry you have been hit with this blight as well. Ann Bennett (see the comment above) can get to hers using her phone. That is not an option for me.

    2. It doesn't work on my iPhone either. I find it strange that all the other clicks work... just not the reading list?? I can get to them by going to my older posts and clicking on each comment to see if they posted anything new, but that is a pain.

      Delete
    3. Rian: It is weird isn't it? I may have to resort to your method - and yes, it will be a pain and will still miss some people.

  24. I think this happened to a few Blogger users. I seldom consult my reading list since I always reply to comments by going to the blog of the person who left a comment - makes it easier for me, however, I don't have such a big circle of readers.

    Replies
    1. Carola Bartz: It would make it easier I suppose, but I read a number of blogs whose owners rarely (if ever) comment here. I do hope that a solution can be found.

  25. I have seen several bloggers complain this has happened to them too.
I certainly hope things will settle down again soon for you, and normal service can be resumed.

What IS going on?? Before discovering that this has happened to you also, I'd assumed it was due to the fact that we are currently in the grip of a major storm here...and I keep losing connection altogether.😬😉
Here's hoping things are back to normal soon!

Lots of love and hugs ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
