Sunday Selections was originally brought to us by Kim, of Frogpondsrock, as an ongoing meme where participants could post previously unused photos languishing in their files.
Huge thanks to Cie who gave me this wonderful Sunday Selections image.
The meme was then continued by River at Drifting through life. Sadly she has now stepped aside (though she will join us some weeks), and I have accepted the mantle.
The rules are so simple as to be almost non-existent. Post some photos under the title Sunday Selections and link back to me. Clicking on any of the photos will make them embiggen.
I usually run with a theme. We are now into our second day of the New Year. I am a bit late, but thought I would celebrate what I hope is the start of a healthier, happier New Year for the world with a retrospective. A look back through last year's photographs of the sky - something which is always with us, and always changing.

DeleteWhat an awesome theme this week to wrap up 2021. I like your July photo. It looks like there is snow on those hills, but I did embiggen and I think it is the way the light is contrasting with the shadows in the foreground. Was that so? Happy New Year and my very best wishes for 2022 EC.

DeleteJuly and December are my favorites. July for the snow on the mountains, more than the moody sky, I think. They are all beautiful, though. These show why your photos are loved and revered by so many of us.
ReplyDeleteI would have been by sooner, but I was stupid and left town yesterday. Additionally, it was raining. However while at the party I was invited to, the temp dropped and the rain turned to ice and sleet. To make matters worse, I didn't bring a coat to wear over my sweat shirt and jeans. What took a little over an hour to get to the party took over four hours to slip and slide home. Harrowing. Sorry I'm so late visiting.
