Further Leave of Absence

I will miss you all, but I still feel like death on a stick.

The smaller portion's sister arrives tomorrow, and his next and hopefully final operation is scheduled for Tuesday.

So I am stepping away from the blogosphere again for a little while until my head, my body and my emotions can be trusted a little more.

  2. I'm hopeful for your sake that it is the final operation. We'll be here when you return. (((HUG))))

And a note - I love that you post what you read. My good group is reading the memoir of our choice this fall and I think I'll read "The Hare with the Amber Eyes" - it was recommended by my dear friend Sally, too.

and to Lynn - read it. It's wonderful - the best book I've read for a long time. I loved every word.

  19. If you take your Thyroid medication religiously most of your symptoms should resolve over time. I am so sorry you are dealing with so much ... your own issues and those of your "smaller portion" ( I assume this is your husband, though am not absolutely sure). Think positive ... believe in the future and allow yourselves to heal. You will be in the prayers of many because you have touched many hearts. Rest now and I will look forward to your return ...

  31. Dear EC, all I would like for those who've become blogging friends is for them to be good to themselves, gracious to themselves, and take care of themselves. So please don't stew over this decision. Just---take---care---of---you! Peace.
