Hanukkah and Christmas have landed.

Hanukkah and Christmas have arrived here, and they are rapidly approaching those of you in the Northern Hemisphere.

For those who celebrate, I hope it is everything you wished for.

Sadly it is a difficult time for many, so please.

Today and every day.

  7. I have to admit I'm not looking forward to Christmas this year for several reasons, but I'm still aware I have it a great deal easier than many people at this time of the year so I'm going to be grateful for what I do have.

Happy Christmas to you, and I hope you do some things during the holiday that you love.

Thunder can be heard rumbling in the distance...but then again, it could be Santa's stomach rumbling...he's had a long and busy night!

May your day be as you wish it to be, EC....have yourself a good one. :)

  29. dear elephant's child, I don't wish to start the new year with you mad at me over a misunderstanding. My argument was with a gentleman from Canada. It was he that prompted my "foreigner" post. River took it personally like she has a tendency to do and somehow you joined in. I miss you and River and I want to explain. I will blog in the coming year but not as much and the content will be different. No more politics, religion or philosophical treatises or existential crisis. You are more than welcome and so is River should you chose to come back.

You have given us a good reminder that misfortune doesn't take a break at Christmas. We need to remember that.
