DeleteI have to admit I'm not looking forward to Christmas this year for several reasons, but I'm still aware I have it a great deal easier than many people at this time of the year so I'm going to be grateful for what I do have.

DeleteI hope you all have a peaceful and happy Christmas and New Year. Manu is not well but the rest of us are fine, and enjoying the smell of the turkey cooking which permeates the house. Only 6 of us for Christmas lunch (not counting animals), but our son just rang from a snowy Christmas Eve in Italy, so all's well.

Deletedear elephant's child, I don't wish to start the new year with you mad at me over a misunderstanding. My argument was with a gentleman from Canada. It was he that prompted my "foreigner" post. River took it personally like she has a tendency to do and somehow you joined in. I miss you and River and I want to explain. I will blog in the coming year but not as much and the content will be different. No more politics, religion or philosophical treatises or existential crisis. You are more than welcome and so is River should you chose to come back.

I like the tree made of books, there's one like that in our local library! Perfect place for it. I hope you had a nice day yesterday, and continue to enjoy the Holiday season. Freezing rain here, the roads are very icy. And now some fog.... not very Christmassy weather!

I have new intentions for 2017 and one is to just live in His grace, and stop all the constant worrying, which never changes a single outcome.
