It was a grey day here today so, since I don't do heat well, I took the opportunity to go into the garden and weed. And weed. And weed a bit more. Drizzle persuaded me to come inside. I have done too much and my bones hurt.
Later the sun came out briefly so I went for a wobble round the garden camera in hand.

Very, very pretty!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous. For a wobbly person you take stunning still shots.
ReplyDeleteKimmie: Thank you.
ReplyDeleteAmpersand Duck: The marvels of digital photography - take 25 shots, delete 23. It does look lovely at the moment though.
I love your garden! That first flower, a poppy? is particularly beautful.
ReplyDeletePicturesque garden ..perfect for refreshing
ReplyDeleteAh, the flowers are delightful. They make me wish for springtime already, and with fall just beginning. Fortunately I have your blog to tide me over. :-)
ReplyDeleteRiver: The first photo was a Ranuncula - but I had never seen one that colour before. Glad you liked it too.
ReplyDeleteBali ring: Thank you. Lots of work, but it pays dividends.
DJan: Thanks. Your blog shows me photos of beauties we simply don't get here. Or at least only in a very few spots.
Oh...thanks for sharing. I love your grden shots!
ReplyDeleteYour garden is blooming quite nicely it was worth the huge effort you put into it, you should be very proud of yourself :-).
ReplyDeleteHow lovely!
ReplyDeleteDo rest this weekend :-)

I am so very envious of your garden. What beautiful pictures you take!
ReplyDeleteThanks for brightening up my dreary rainy Sunday :)
Elliot Macleod-Michael: Welcome and thankyou. Gardening is one of my obsessions.
ReplyDeleteAlexia: I'm glad to brighten your day. Thank you.
Your certainly have the most beautiful flowering garden. Hope your bones are feeling a little better now. Thanks so much for your continued support, I really appreciate knowing that you are checking on me. xxx
ReplyDeleteKakka: Of course I checked in on you. You matter.
ReplyDeleteThose tulips are delectable! Happy small-scale Floriade!
ReplyDeleteA few posts back the 'R U OK' day conincided with my reading a bt too much about death...if you recall The Elegance fo the Hedgehog, I was a bit sniffy about that; then, some woefulness in Five Bells by Gail Jones. I almost blogged angrily about authors killing characters. I'm taking more lengthy breaks between binges of internetting. Don't mind me. I have tomato seedlings to fuss over!
ReplyDeleteWow - your gorgeous garden is a balm for the soul!
ReplyDeleteMitzi: I understand. And we too have tomatoes to worry about (frosts not yet done). You mentioned many moons ago that you sometimes came this way. I would be happy to share the garden, and a cup of something with you. Floriade is on our agenda for next week - or the week after if the weather boffins are truthful. And tulip tops.
ReplyDeleteladyfi: it is a joy and a delight and simultaneously the bane of my existence. A gardner's work is just begun...
What is the tree, with the flowered branch? That is so beautiful! The tulip photo looks from another world.
ReplyDeleteWow - for a 'wobbler' you take some pretty spectacular photos!
ReplyDeleteStrayer: The big flowered branch is crab apple. The shot with the pink blossom is ornamental cherry. And I love the tulips - more come out each day.
ReplyDeleteKath: Thanks.
You took some beautiful photos and I'm impressed as you were feeling 'wobbly'.
ReplyDeleteDenise: Wobbly thanks to you too.
ReplyDeleteOh dear, late to the garden party again! Thanks for sharing these - it never ceases to amaze me how much beauty you have so near at all times. I feel starved of the blessings nature can bestow on the spirit and body, just by being amongst her simple daily miracles. Working to correct that, though. In the meantime, these images are the next best thing! Be well.
ReplyDeleteTwo Tigers: You are always welcome.
ReplyDeleteA wobble and a lurch? Hehehe.
ReplyDeleteAll Consuming: Yup, a lurch to the right and a wobble to the left.
ReplyDeleteI get so much pleasure out of your garden. I miss having a garden. Not that I'm much of a gardener, but I miss it all the same. Seeing yours makes me feel sort of wholesome. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteTracy: Thank you. I find the garden incredibly therapeutic but, being an obsessive about it, I do wonder if I am boring other people to sobs.
ReplyDeletesuch vivid wonderful colours! i adore ranunculas but i've never been lucky with mine, this one is supersweet. but i think my favouirte photo is the cherry blossom against the blue sky, it'll be pretty much six months before we'll experience that sight again here...
ReplyDeletePia K: Thank you - the garden, while lots of work, is a balm for my soul.
ReplyDeleteLove this, thanks for sharing
ReplyDeletePupuk Dasar Tanaman Buncis: Welcome and thank you.
