I usually run with a theme. I have a theme this week but before I show you some of the scenes which have delighted me, I have some 'house-keeping' to do.
Blogger's new changes have meant that my reading list is updated sporadically. I follow far too many bloggers to have you on my side bar and I depend on the reading list. If I have missed a post of yours please feel free to nudge me.
Also on the blogger front. I received a less than clear email last week which said essentially that the 'follow by email' widget is being discontinued. If you do follow my posts that way and are unable to follow through GFC please contact me. A quick list at the subscribers who do choose to follow my posts that way shows me names I do not recognise and with whom I have no ongoing contact. With that in mind at the moment I am just going to let the widget go unless I am told by significant numbers of you that it would be a mistake.
Back to Sunday Selections. I spend a lot of time each and every day watching the sky. Skyscapes are a passion. So today's post is devoted to them - mostly from our gentle and beautiful dawns. Yes, mad woman with camera dances were involved, but the early morning risers in my street are used to her. It is also quite possible that I simply don't register their incredulous looks.
I hope that all of your days are studded with moments of delight.
The dawn and the gloaming with the colors in the sky and the world unfocused is so beautiful and your pictures capture that well. I'm purchasing myself a better camera. There is so much minutia I need to photograph and then load on wikimedia commons.
ReplyDeleteAnn Bennett: wikimedia commons? Tell me more. Dawn and gloaming are both beautiful words and times of the day.
DeleteThe clouds arrived in small clusters, hoping to wish the Earthlings well before the storm hit. Sparse and wispy as they were, the children of the sky had work to do and soon it would rain.
ReplyDeleteOops...should have read the instructions. I was supposed to post photos! 😀
DeleteSandi: It is lovely to see you here. I really like the words that my photos inspired. Thank you.
DeleteThese are some stupendous cloud skies. There are no clouds here today. All blue skies. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteJ C: We had a lot of cloud early, but they have disappeared completely. Totally blue here too now.
DeleteLovely. Actually planning tonight to watch a sunset on the beach.
ReplyDeleteMarty: Sunset on the beach sounds lovely. Enjoy yours - and take photos. Please.
DeleteWhat a beautiful collection of dawn photos! I hope you are having a nice weekend. :)
ReplyDeleteMartha: I am having a quiet and lovely weekend. I hope yours is wonderful.
DeleteWe had a few light showers through the night. I was awake through to the early hours...watching Prince Philip's funeral service...now I'm about ready to settle in to read the "Sunday Mail" with my two furry mates cuddled up beside me.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a great week ahead, EC...take good care...cuddles to Jazz. :)
Lee: Rain? None here, and none forecast. Enjoy your time with the paper and with your furry overlords.
DeleteThe photos are brilliant and beautiful!
ReplyDeletemail4rosey: Thank you.
DeleteI want to try to paint some of those beautiful sky scenes
ReplyDeleteGranny Annie: I hope that if you do try and paint any of these skyscapes you will share them. And yes, that is a strong hint.
DeleteWhen I lived in my house I took pics of the spectacular sunsets and sunrises and must resurrect them to savour again.
ReplyDeleteI just love yours and get blown away by the similarities.
XO
WWW
Wiswebwoman: Definitely a sight to savour. I hope you have a wonderful time wandering down memory lane.
DeleteI think it is quite possible that they all are a little envious of the mad woman with the camera!
ReplyDeleteDavid M. Gascoigne: The other early risers are heading off to work and may envy me on that front. I do hope that the mad woman and her camera encourages them to see and appreciate the sky though.
DeleteWhat a variety and I would not be surprised if some photos taken on the same day look very different.
ReplyDeleteAndrew: Very different. Five minutes (or less) can make an incredible difference. It is not uncommon for me to come inside, put the camera away - and then to pick it up and head outside again.
DeleteThe beautiful Australian skies...
ReplyDeleteKeep well.
Caterina: I am convinced that you have beautiful skies too. I am safe and hope that you are too.
Besos
eli mendez: You live close to a beach? Lucky you. Sunrises and sunsets over water are incredibly beautiful. Enjoy yours to the max.
DeleteSuch delightful sky shots, from one of my favorite people of all time! Thank you for the pink glimpses of your clouds.
ReplyDeleteDJan: What a truly lovely thing to say. Have a wonderful (no doubt exercise packed) day.
DeleteYour morning/evening skies are wonderful to see, we have cloudy and grey here in Melbourne this morning- I’m definitely hoping for a break and the blue skies will show through.
ReplyDeleteWas that evening moonrise in one or an early morning ‘not gone to bed’ yet moon?
Take care (and thanks for the opportunity to share )
Cathy
Cathy: It was very grey here this morning as well. Our cloud has now disappeared completely and we have a glorious autumnal day - as I hope you do.
DeleteThat was a late to bed moonshot, sharing the sky with the sun.
My brother in law has Parkinson's. A few years back he began photographing sunrises on Cape Cod. He has hit every single beach on the Cape (which I assure you is a ton) depending on which is a better exposure getting sunrises and sunsets. It's amazing really.
ReplyDeleteKnowing the change is coming in July I ditched the email button entirely and added the follower back. Sad, my other blog have over 300 followers. Now? 6. Times sure have changed.
Juli: I am so very sorry for your brother in law - who has been beset with another of the 'cruel' illnesses. Capturing sunrises on the beaches sounds wonderful to me.
DeleteI have been running both the follower and the email button concurrently. At this stage, not having anyone tell me that they need the email button I will let it go.
Truly beautiful skyscapes - the colours are so lovely. There's a lot to be said for knowing a mad woman with a camera!
ReplyDeleteI hope you have an enjoyable and worry-free week, and many more inspiring sunrises.
Alexia: Thank you. Even on the worst of days sunrises are solace and heart balm. I am smiling at you comment about the positives of knowing a mad woman with a camera too.
DeleteSo happy you paused the mad dances for a turn with the moon.
ReplyDeleteJoanne Noragon: The mad dances in my head are pretty constant. The body sometimes follows suit...
DeleteWow, those are beautiful! Be safe.
ReplyDeletee: They ARE beautiful. Have you been able to have your shot(s) yet?
DeleteBeautiful skyscapes photos. It almost looks magical.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Julia
Julia: Dawn in particular IS magical - or I find it so.
DeleteSo many beautiful skyscapes!
ReplyDeleteMy selections will be over here.
messymimi: Thank you. As I do each and every week I look forward to your selections going live.
DeleteI love the sky and the clouds and the trees and everything that's peaceful but alive.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
Janie Junebug: Me too. So much.
DeleteSure are delightful and beauty of nature...x
ReplyDeleteaussie aNNie: Nature is the best artist - and her galleries are superb.
DeleteThose are great sunset pictures. HA! No, I read about when you took them. Sometimes I'm up and see the dawn. Then I think "what time is it?! I need to go to bed."
ReplyDeleteMike: You, like my partner, live in a different time zone to me.
DeleteSome people might say it's just sky or clouds and never take a moment to fully appreciate the colours and patterns as we do. My favourites here are #1, #7 and the later three where the clouds are gold.
ReplyDeleteRiver: I feel very sorry for 'some people'. I am endlessly amazed and delighted by the sky.
DeleteI like the opening and closing o days. At all seasons.
ReplyDeleteAnd, since yesterday's mammoth pruning session , we now have our ocean glimps again. But lordy! it's just as well the season is cooling - facing due North with no leafy screen would be painful But, in a few minutes, we shall look West with our "sundowners."
dinahmow: Me too. Sunset is often too hot for me to be out. The same is rarely true of dawn. Enjoy your sundowners. Bubbles?
DeleteApparently we had the same dira I also watched skies but from my sofa ! We both live so far away and still it's The same sky your photos are beautiful !https://gattinawritercramps.blogspot.com/2021/04/sunday-selection_01248482500.html
ReplyDeleteGattina: Skyscapes are a constant joy aren't they? Thank you for joining us again - I am heading over to check out your selections now.
DeleteI receive all your new posts in my email. I'm not sure I understand what changes are coming. Will I stop receiving your posts by email? Should I follow the other way?
ReplyDeleteOlga Godim: If you can follow the other way it would be lovely, but I will try and find a way so that you can continue to follow by email.
DeleteYour photos have made my Sunday even more beautiful. Thank you. I too get your posts by email. Hope that will continue.
ReplyDeleteKalpana: I would be very, very reluctant to lose either you or Olga. I will have to investigate further.
DeletePerhaps an email list would work? (I have no idea how to start one).
Deleteneena maiya (guyana gyal): Neither do I. And it would need to automatically send out emails telling people that I have put a new post up. Sigh.
DeleteI found this link. Hope it helps
ReplyDeletehttps://support.google.com/blogger/answer/10477563?hl=en#zippy=%2Cwhat-should-i-do-about-this
Kalpana: Thank you for that link. I am reluctant to download my subscription list (with 1300+ entries on it) but will explore further.
DeleteThis is the problem. When I moved from free wordpress to selfhosted I suddenly found I had to actually send out these emails through mailchimp. That was a whole new learning curve. It's a mess. I wish they'd keep things simple instead of complicating them unnecessarily.
DeleteKalpana: I am not certain which program I will use. More investigation is required. MailChimp looks like a lot of work to me.
DeleteThe clouds look so pretty!
ReplyDeleteNatalia: Thank you. I thought so too.
DeleteEverybody's already used all the words! So I'll just say-- A very fine selection. How's that for boring!
ReplyDeleteBill: Not boring at all. Thank you.
DeleteDear EC
ReplyDeleteSome wonderful sky studies for us to enjoy. The mad woman with a camera dances are so worth it!
Have a good week
Best wishes
Ellie
Ellie Foster: I do love the sky - and thank you. You have an excellent (and creative) week too.
DeleteAbsolutely stunning the skies EC.
ReplyDeleteBob Bushell: They are a treat aren't they? A daily, and often twice daily treat.
DeleteWhat an amazing sky pictures Dear E.C.! They are all lovely and good quality. Thanks.
ReplyDeletebread&salt: Many thanks. I am glad you enjoyed them.
DeleteYou're absolutely right. While it's not my passion, as it is yours, there's definitely something peaceful about watching the sky in all its beauty and mystery. While I haven't blogged in quite some time, I did see the email thing, and I fear that it's going to be a nightmare. I'm not sure if I subscribe to you,(lol) because I'm just used to coming over almost every Sunday to see the latest and greatest stuff. Be well, and sending lots of hugs, RO
ReplyDeleteRO: I 'think' you follow me by GFC. I am grateful that you are so diligent about returning each week too. I also hope that you will put up another post again - and yes, I am hinting.
DeleteSomehow your sunrises are far more beautiful than any I've seen. You create beauty through your lens. Your pinks and blues are stunning. Your early morning captures are stunning. I don't seem to have the same early morning sky in my part of the world that you have in yours. Simply stunning photographic art.
ReplyDeleteBleubeard and Elizabeth: Thank you so much. I don't consider myself an artist though - I am attempt to capture some of the supreme artist's (Nature) work.
DeleteOh how grateful I am that "the mad woman with her camera" continues to venture out and bring us all so much enjoyment!😊😊
ReplyDeleteAs always, these photos are absolutely stunning...I truly adore your sky photos. And I am inspired to rise early and capture some myself. Also sunsets. We had a gorgeous pink and orange one last night, but yours truly was too lazy to go get the camera! Shame on me!!🙄 Lol
Really hope you feel better soon, dear friend.
Always in my thoughts...
with much love and hugs ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Ygraine: The mad woman and her camera spend time together almost every day. It is nearly dawn now and I won't be surprised if dances are involved. Again. My ailments (while uncomfortable and unpleasant) are almost certainly minor. Look after yourself dear friend. And make the medicos do the same.
DeleteHad I been in your neighborhood, I would have joined you in the "Dawn Dance with Camera." What beautiful sights.
ReplyDeleteWith my current foster mamadog, I've been staying up late and getting up early so she can go out and take care of whatever she needs to take care of. This morning, it was chasing a squirrel and staring down a chicken with a death wish, in addition to her usual morning outdoor "rituals." Being out with her early and late, I've been able to experience the beauty of those quieter times. And I'm grateful.
-Marty K
musicalsciencedoggies: Those quiet times are solace and heart balm aren't they? Even accompanied by those with more energy (like mamadog) than ourselves.
DeleteWhat wonderful sunrises. Thank you for capering around and shocking your neighbours.
ReplyDeleteCharlotte (MotherOwl): I think the neighbours are mostly inured to my insanity. I hope so. Today's dawn is a very soft one, but still lovely.
DeleteI adore your photos of the sky. I'm right there with you doing a happy dance when I see such beauty in a sunrise.
ReplyDeleteI don't understand about the changes that are coming about following by email. I'm not sure what I'm going to do on my blog. I think I follow you by email but I will always look for your post no matter how I have to fine them. Take care my friend and have a wonderful and safe week.
Mason Canyon: I don't know what I am going to do either. I was going to treat this change with ignore, but too many people I value and would hate to lose follow me by email. More investigation is required.
DeleteIsn't the sky a wonder, and the early morning skies perhaps particularly so.
Hi Sue - thanks for those wonderful photos - always inspiring ... just not being accompanied by the bit about the email ... a pain as I've two here, who don't blog, who've just started to follow ... I'll need to see what's what sometime next week.
ReplyDeleteOur weather is still chilly - clear, but chilly ... so nearly there and it is warmer out when the sun is out ... so pleased you're out and about for us ... stay safe - and see you soon ... cheers Hilary
Hilary Melton-Butcher: If you find an answer to this conundrum please let us know.
DeleteWe are chilly here at the moment. It is slightly over zero degrees (C) as I type. I am loving it, but do hope your weather chooses to warm up.
Sometimes, it looks like a different land up there, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteLike you, I love to sky-gaze. I would lie on the floor and stare and stare.
The neighbours probably are accustomed to you by now...they probably envy your freedom...or admire it.
That widget thing...I couldn't figure out where it had gone. Thanks for writing about it.
neena maiya (guyana gyal): We are told that the widget will continue to work for a little while yet, but that it will go away. Big sigh.
DeleteOn the lying on the floor front? Years ago there was a wonderful exhibition of David Chihuly's glass at our National Gallery. One piece was displayed on the ceiling. I did lie on the floor to admire it - and was joined by lots of other people.
I follow three blogs by email notification, so I have to work out some other way to follow them. Nice sky photos once again.
ReplyDeleteStrayer: I have one blog I follow by email (I don't receive notification of her posts any other way). I will have to find an alternative too.
DeleteYour photos are wonderful. I too am a sky watcher and I often take pictures too though just with my phone. I appreciate your dawns. I’m rarely up that early.
ReplyDeleteI haven’t posted in quite a while. I probably won’t for sometime. I truly look forward to your Sunday photos, so I’ll look you up even if I don’t get an email notice.
Have a happy, healthy week.
Myrna R.: There is no virtue in my early rising. My eyes roll back and that is it. Beautiful dawns and quiet time are some consolation. I miss your beautiful and often thought provoking poems. A lot. I do hope that you return to us some time.
DeleteWhat stunning sunrises! Good for you getting up so early, I would love to be a regular morning person, but now the days are getting shorter, and darker mornings..
ReplyDeletekaren: I like the early mornings but not everyone does. The other human inhabitant here certainly doesn't. Given his druthers he springs out of bed at the crack of noon.
DeleteFollow by email is going away? That's rude.
ReplyDeleteI follow everyone through Feedly and my best blogger buds are all in my side bar as well.
Alex J. Cavanaugh: If feedly and feedburner are the same (excuse my ignorance) it is certainly going away. I get more than enough emails already so don't follow many people that way but it seems that it will slam a door shut for many people.
DeleteSchön die Bilder von den Himmelslandschaften am
ReplyDeleteHimmel ist immer was zu sehen.
Gruß
Noke
Noke: The sky is a never ending joy for me. Every day, every season... And thank you.
DeleteLaurie: I am so very glad that technology has brought you back to the blogosphere. And thank you. As always.
ReplyDeleteI live near the mountains. These sky captures of yours are beautiful and clearly indicate warm climes which are wonderful to experience on a nice balmy day.
ReplyDeleteSpacerGuy: My city is renowned for being cold (by Australian standards). On a more global standard our winters are wimpy.
DeleteOh I see. I always thought red clouds meant a warm day was coming, interesting isn't it? But we do live at opposite ends of earth which is also fascinating.
DeleteSpacerGuy: I grew up hearing the phrase 'Red sky in the morning, Shepherd (or sailor) take warning'. Fortunately these skies were pink rather than red.
DeleteI love your sky scapes. Wish I could rise early enough to take in the sunrise.
ReplyDeleteMarie Smith: Much as I love the dawn, sometimes I would love for it to be missed by my sleeping self. Which hasn't happened in many a long year.
DeleteBeyond glorious! Just love them. Thank you for these beauties.
ReplyDeleteNilanjana Bose: Thank you. And thank you for coming by on your day of respite from the A-Z challenge.
DeleteI just love your sky photographs.
ReplyDeleteA joy to see and the colours within each one are truly beautiful. Thank you for sharing them here.
I hope the week ahead is a good one for you.
My good wishes.
All the best Jan
Lowcarb team member ~Jan: Thank you. Our dawns are mostly soft colours but I delight in their beauty. I hope you and Eddie have a wonderful week.
DeleteQue bellos cielos, me hicieron suspirar. Ten un linda semana
ReplyDeleteJ.P.Alexander: Thank you. They make me sigh too. Have a wonderful week ahead.
DeleteThere is something magical about the times between daylight and darkness, regardless of which end of the day they are. We don't have a clear view of either sunrises or sunsets, meaning I have to be elsewhere to take pictures of them. So I always enjoy yours. Thank you for them.
ReplyDeletejenny_o: Thank you. I am lucky and don't have to move far to get good views of both sunrise and sunset. I revel in both.
DeleteAlways find your skyscapes beautiful as the colours in the sky change as dawn moves into morning. Hope you were not too mad dancing with your camera and lying on the ground taking the pics!!
ReplyDeletekestrel: Only a little bit mad. Those colours are lovely aren't they?
DeleteBuon inizio settimana.
ReplyDeleteGiancarlo: Thank you. And to you.
DeleteThe early bird catches these beautiful sky images and thanks for sharing them with us. yes I got the same notification on blogger adn really I do not understand it and know what to do!!! Does it mean we will NOT have a reading list of people who have just published a post? If this the case, I do not know how I will see anyone's post or them see mine!!! Oh Dear! I wish they would stop changing things Sue. I am getting too old for this! Have a good week ahead.
ReplyDeleteMargaret Birding for Pleasure: This early bird delights in dawn.
DeleteYou WILL be able to see new post in your reading list. However, from July you will not receive email notifications that someone has posted. I only follow one blog that way - because her post never appear on my reading list. Some people only follow blogs through the email option. I will have to make some changes for them, but am not yet certain what I can do.
I am over blogger's changes too. I have not found them positive.
Lovely skies as always, EC!
ReplyDeleteI actually got the Bloglovin service years ago so I could follow you and a few other folks. So I follow through there.
John Wiswell: Thank you. With one exception I am not worried about following other blogs. I am worried about hiding my posts from those who choose to follow by email.
DeleteBeautiful sky pictures. I'm letting the email widget go too. Not too many people use it for my blog.
ReplyDeleteMary Kirkland: More people use the widget than I had realised so I will have to find another way. Drat it.
DeleteGorgeous.. I like the ones where the clouds are puffy. They have such great texture and the light plays so beautifully off them.
ReplyDeleteHena Tayeb: I really liked those fluffy, puffy clouds too. Dawn is not far away now, and I wonder what I will see.
DeleteMy personal moment of delight for today was the fact that I ordered some tube lights to replace the burnt out ones in my kitchen, and as we can't shop in person right now, I ordered on line and had curb pick up and lo and behold! I got the right ones! hooray.
ReplyDeleteLove the clouds and the skies and the tree silhouettes.
Shammickite: Hooray for getting the right lights. I have often struggled even shopping in person.
DeleteFine pics.
ReplyDeleteDawns do it, eh?
Writes someone who (mostly) does no dawns.
Sean Jeating: Thank you. I see most dawns.
DeleteI love daybreak skies, but don't seem them often now because I sleep little at night and can't wake up in the morning. Sunsets are often beautiful here in the southern Appalachians and I revel in there colors. Thanks for showing us the skies in your area when dressed in their glory.
ReplyDeleteGlenda Beall: Skyscapes fill me with delight no matter the time of the day or the season. Perhaps I have a special affinity with dawn because there are few other watchers.
DeleteSue, you are a master at taking skyscapes. Each one is stunning.
ReplyDeleteWhy oh why do they keep changing Blogger. I get more discouraged with it everyday.
Starting Over, Accepting Changes - Maybe: I hear you on the changes. Sometimes progress isn't. And the blogger changes mess with my mind.
DeleteAnd a big thank you for your kind words.
What gorgeous sunrises! I miss seeing sunrises and sunsets here in our forested paradise. When we're allowed to travel again, I'm looking forward to going somewhere I can enjoy the morning and evening skies.
ReplyDeleteDiane Henders: I get a better view of the skies at dawn, but revel in them all. I hope you can travel again - sooner rather than later.
DeleteThis evening was studded with moments of delight from looking at your beautiful sunrises, thank you
ReplyDeleteKim: What a truly lovely thing to say. Thank you.
DeleteGorgeous pastels. Any of those photos would be wonderful watercolours.
ReplyDeleteThe Blog Fodder: They would, wouldn't they? If only I could paint. Or draw.
DeleteDelightful skies!
ReplyDeleteLady Fi: Thank you.
DeleteWow, you get a lot of comments! I don't get as many. Those photos are outstanding. I love looking at the sky, too.
ReplyDeletegigi-hawaii: I DO get a lot of commments and am grateful to those who take the time and effort.
DeleteWhat a pretty sky ❤
ReplyDeleteKinga K.: Thank you. I am waiting for dawn again and wondering what will be on display.
DeleteThose sure are beautiful scenes!
ReplyDeleteJust the other day I was looking at the beautiful sky above.
Lon Anderson: Thank you. I often watch the skies. So very often.
DeleteYou're welcome!
DeleteWhen I look up at the sky, I find it quite mesmerizing, at times.
Lon Anderson: Definitely mesmerising - and very, very beautiful.
DeleteLos amaneceresy los atardeceres son momentos únicos del día y en donde se hacen las mejores fotografías.
ReplyDeleteTe han quedado muy bien los cielos , con ese gran contraluz.
VENTANA DE FOTO: They are indeed wonderful times of day - for photography and for marvelling at nature's palette.
DeleteBelle fotografie.
ReplyDeleteUn sereno mercoledi a te.
Giancarlo: Thank you. It is early Thursday here. I hope your day is lovely.
Deletemajestic .splendid views dear E C ,so remarkably captured indeed
ReplyDeleteit is nice to hear that you are also in love with sky watch :)
i am too mad about looking at sky :)
baili: Of course I love the sky. Each and every day there is something to marvel at.
DeleteBeautiful sky pics. I'm often amazed by the colors of sunrise and sunset.
ReplyDeletemshatch: I am too. My critical self would dismiss them as unreal if I saw them in a painting - which I know to be unfair.
DeleteReally beautiful sky colors. We also have had spectacular sunsets, but for some reason I never make it in time to watch the red sky (or I'm too lazy to go take a look), because I have houses in front.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice week.
Hugs
orvokki: I am lucky. I see dawns relatively unobstructed and have a very short walk to get good views of sunsets too.
DeleteThose skies are gorgeous! Must be magical to sit and see the sun rise. I have had the widget announcement also. I'm going to see what happens before I do anything about it.
ReplyDeleteDeniseinVA: Thank you. It is magical to watch dawns gently rise - and, like sunsets, they change so quickly.
DeleteSadly it has become evident that I will have to find another 'follow by email' widget. I am not sure which yet. Work in progress.
Lovely and unique sky shots. I wonder why they're dropping reader.
ReplyDeleteTake special care. Hope your day is wondrous.
Sandra Cox: For the moment they are just dropping follow by email. Yet more 'improvements'. Thank you and have a wonderful day. Mine will be busy (volunteering) but I am hoping for a good one. For me and for the callers.
DeleteHey Beautiful Soul! Your sky photos are breath taking!! I got the same message about the follow by e-mail widget. I just deleted mine, because it said it would not be working after July. Big Hugs!
ReplyDeleteMagic Love Crow: Aren't the skies a delight. It is just after dawn here and we have a soft, cool and lovely morning. Sadly enough people have told me that they follow by email that I think I am going to have to find an alternative way to connect.
DeleteLet me know please, if you find a different way! Big Hugs!
DeleteMagic Love Crow: If and when I do, I will.
DeleteI'm simply confused by the changes to blogger. But I guess I'll muddle along as I always have. LOL
ReplyDeleteI love your photo's, always a great subject. I think I have half a million of the sky, clouds, and sunrises. But Mother Nature is just so beautiful!
I am always amazed to find you to be the first commenter on the blogs I read. You are amazing! Thanks for always reading and commenting on my efforts.
Yolanda Renee: I hear you on the muddling along. Sadly it seems this change is going to require me to get off my lazy fundament and find an alternative 'follow by email' widget.
DeleteNature is the BEST artist isn't she?
Reading and commenting on your work is a privilege - for which I thank you.
Clouds and sunsets, two of my favourite phenomenon, and so beautifully caught as ever. Hugs m'dear Xx
ReplyDeleteRuby End: Mostly sunrises - but right up there with my favourite phenomena too. Thank you.
DeleteHave a great day
ReplyDeleteR's Rue: You too.
DeleteCracking pics as usual. I love sunrises. Yours even more. :-)
ReplyDeleteGreetings from London.
A Cuban in London: Always the same, always different, always a delight.
DeleteThese are stunning! I've taken some similar gorgeous shots over the years, and I always enjoy such photos.
ReplyDeletebalanced a.f: Welcome and thank you. I am not going to admit just how many folders I have filled with photos of the sky.
DeleteBuona giornata.
ReplyDeleteGiancarlo: Thank you. Have a wonderful weekend.
DeleteSome great pictures there, well worth risking a charge of insanity for.
ReplyDeleteJohn "By Stargoose And Hanglands": Thank you. As you know, dawn is often the most beautiful part of the day.
DeleteBuon fine settimana.
ReplyDeleteGiancarlo: Thank you - and to you.
Manuel: Thank you. I like them both, though I think that the softer and gentler dawns have first place in my heart. Stay safe and healthy friend. Please.
DeleteWonderful photos and the colours are beautiful, nature sure puts on a good display for us.
ReplyDeleteRosie: She does, doesn't she?
DeleteThank you for this tour, so many wonders just waiting to be discovered out there, and it feels like we've just traced your journey with this and so delightful too! Enjoy the rest of your weekend and a great week ahead too! Take good care of you.
ReplyDelete21 Wits: Thank you. My journeys often don't take me very far - but they are filled with joy and wonder. Have a wonderful, safe and healthy weekend - and all the weeks to come.
DeleteLove the skyscapes! How enchanting!
ReplyDeleteVeronica Lee: Welcome and thank you. I am a skyscape addict.
DeleteI didn't see a Sunday Selection today, the 1st of May. Everything ok?
ReplyDeleteStrayer: I put it up when I got up - a little before 4am.
Delete
