Like River I usually run with a theme. In my absence (and thank you soooo much for all your messages of support) we took an outing to the lake on a beautiful autumnal day to see a 'boatfest'. It was held at the local yacht club, and all the visitors were smiling. Powered boats are severely restricted on our lake, which was evident.
Isn't that shimmer on the water beautiful?
Of course, while we were 'in the neighbourhood' we had to go and visit the kangaroos.
And the red-rumped parrots (aka bum birds) who were showing their rumps for a change.
And the cormorants. Big smiles.
But goodness it is dry...
