Words for Wednesday will continue, but has again become a moveable feast. A big thank you to everyone who said that they are able to provide prompts.
Riot Kitty is providing this months prompts
Mark Koopmans has offered to provide them for May. He has generously given me the prompts and they will appear here on my blog.
Thanks to all the people who responded to my begging post we have quite a number of months filled now. I have put together a schedule, but am open to changing it it the dates don't suit.
At the moment it looks like this.
June: River will post the prompts on her blog.
July: I will post the prompts here, with some stunning prompts provided to me by Olga Godim on the last week.
August: Hannah Bannaface will be providing the prompts at her blog.
September: The prompts will be here, but provided by Margaret Adamson and her friend Sue Fulton.
October: The Cranky will post the prompts on her blog.
November: Carolyn McBride will post the prompts on her blog.
It the host for the month could identify the next host on their final post it will help keep the meme alive.
If anyone else would like to provide the prompts you would be more than welcome. Let me know in the comments.
I hope that you will visit these generous souls and continue to support this fun meme. International time zones also mean that the meme can be published on Tuesday or Thursday in your time - but keep checking...

Sorry
ReplyDeleteMartin Kloess: Nothing to be sorry for.
DeleteI'm a fan!
ReplyDeleteCloudia: Good. I hope to see you at Riot Kitty's place.
DeleteWednesday words are missing.
ReplyDeleteMerle............
Merlesworld: Not missing. Wednesday hasn't landed on that side of the world yet.
DeleteHalloween month suits me perfectly. =)
ReplyDeleteThe Cranky: Good. I am really looking forward to your fiendish prompts.
DeleteI love all the prompts and even though I rarely post anything about them they always make me think.
ReplyDeleteAnne in the kitchen: I am so glad. And sometime we would love to see the results of your thinking.
DeleteIf I survive the kitchen remodel and Nanowrimo .. I will be a much better participant. I find this great to help with writing flo. We did have a camp writing dare today. Here it is:
ReplyDeleteCamp Dare of the Day
"Every villain has a soft side, and yours is no exception. Get in touch with their inner fluffy bunny, and find the nicest thing they have ever said or done. Will they hide their gentle moment from the public and remain a vision of terror? Or will they use this to their advantage to try and convince people that, perhaps, they aren't so evil after all? How would your protagonist feel about the villain if they knew about this incident? — Hrair Rabbit"
Ginger Dawn Harman: That is a truly intriguing Dare. I like it. A lot. Every villian has a soft side, and every hero has some dark corners...
DeleteI cannot find the words on riot kitty's site!!
ReplyDeleteMargaret Adamson: It is not yet Wednesday in Riot Kitty land.
DeleteThanks for the prompts. I always make up the story even though I don't post.
ReplyDeleteKelly Steel: I hope that some day you will share your stories. Please.
DeleteWonderful people offer to help and do.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with it all.
Margaret-whiteangel: I am so very grateful to the people in the blogosphere. Often and often.
DeleteJust here to thank you for your generous support! I will be back participating after April is over. Meanwhile, kudos to you for keeping it going! Best of luck
ReplyDeleteNilanjana.
Nilanjana Bose: It has been a daily pleasure to read your limericks. Good luck with the A-Z.
DeleteI've written them down, so I can remember who to pass the baton to.
ReplyDeleteI'll check in with Riot Kitty later to get this week's words.
River: I have to look it up each month.
DeleteYou have good supporters to support you for each month...
ReplyDeleteWeekend-Windup: The meme was started by Delores who is having a break. I hope that in the fullness of time she will return and reclaim it, but you are right. I have been helped by so many people here.
DeleteExcellent! Lots of folks on board for the moveable feast.
ReplyDeleteSandra Cox: There are. Which is wonderful.
DeleteTeamwork at its finest.
ReplyDeleteRawnknrobyn: The blogosphere is good that way.
DeleteYou and your words are loved!!!
ReplyDeleteSonya Ann: The meme was on loan, and I am glad to spread the love.
DeleteLooks like a well-rounded meme fest.
ReplyDeletecleemckenzie: It is. And the different prompts are a gift. Like crossword puzzles if they always come from the same person they can get a bit predictable. Or so I think.
DeleteComing!
ReplyDeleteRiot Kitty: I am looking forward to it.
DeleteFun while lasted here, EC. I'm so tough with change.
ReplyDeleteStrayer: I am sorry. It will be back here at regular intervals and I hope you will continue to play.
DeleteYou've scheduled a lot of well meaning blog fests for the whole year. I was going to suggest one of Star Treks starships or at the very least, 5 of the bad guys, and see who writes what.
ReplyDeleteSpacerguy: I like that idea. And we don't hear often enough from the bad guys.
DeleteI'd love it!
DeleteJust a heads up, I've decided WFW would be better hosted on my writing blog at https://dragonquillca.wordpress.com/ in Nov instead of my Letters From The Bush blog.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to get in on the hosting fun!
Carolyn McBride: Thank you. I will change that link very shortly.
Delete@Carolyn McBride; I've made a note of the address change so I'll know where to visit in November. I always post my WFW stories on my own blog though, on the following Fridays.
ReplyDeleteRiver: I am about to change the link and get it right. I hope.
DeleteSo nice to see everyone working together. It's nice when projects have big support.
ReplyDeletemail4rosey: It is better than nice. Wonderful.
DeleteI'll try to start stopping by some of these blogs.
ReplyDeleteHave a great one, EC.
Sandra Cox: You too.
DeleteI've hit a couple. Happy weekend!
DeleteSandra Cox: And to you.
DeleteI will try to be a better participant and post mine on my blog and give a prompt to the next provider. I posted on Riot Kitty's comment section but will post on my blog tomorrow. Maybe I will get this right eventually.
ReplyDeleteGrannie Annie: I loved your story at Riot Kitty's. And you are doing it right.
Deletei love all the words this week. i've been using profanity quite a bit lately. must change that.
ReplyDeleteCindi Summerlin: They were excellent weren't they?
DeleteThey are generous and talented! And YOU are the Queen of all!
ReplyDeleteSusan Kane: Generous and talented indeed. Delores is still the queen though. I am/we are just keeping her place.
DeleteThis looks very organized! I look forward to the words each week. Participating is fun, but even when I am too tired I have a blast reading what others write. :)
ReplyDelete~Jess
~Jess
DMS ~ Jess: That is both of us. I love seeing the very different directions that the prompts take us, and am frequently awed at the wordsmithery.
DeleteI don't have anything to contribute but I do love that so many have. Neato.
ReplyDeleteThe Happy Whisk: It is wonderful isn't it?
DeleteYeppers. Pretty cool how bloggers come together.
DeleteLooks like fun. If my brain was working to produce something I could share, I would join in ;)
ReplyDeleteDeniseinVA: It is fun. Some week I hope inspiration strikes and you join us.
DeleteI wish I could come over and play:)
ReplyDeleteI'm in the thick of my busy planting season.
It's a beautiful way to spend my days
so I'm not at all complaining.
It's fun to peek in on your loveliness over here.
Thanks for your always lovely way,
Jennifer
Jennifer Richardson: I hope your planting goes well and feeds hearts as well as eyes.
DeleteI posted my take on the words in Riot Kitty's comment site.
ReplyDeleteLet me know when you need me and I will provide the words for one month. Just let me know.
