Sunday Selections was originally brought to us by Kim, of Frogpondsrock, as an ongoing meme where participants could post previously unused photos languishing in their files. Huge thanks to Cie who gave me this wonderful Sunday Selections image.
The meme was then continued by River at Drifting through life.
Sadly she has now stepped aside (though she will join us some weeks),
and I have accepted the mantle.
The
rules are so simple as to be almost non-existent. Post some photos
under the title Sunday Selections and link back to me. Sorry I still
haven't succeeded in working out how to do a blog hop. Clicking on any of the photos will make them embiggen.
I
usually run with a theme. This last week (and next week and the one after) has been busy with mostly medical appointments. Sigh.
So just a few photos this week.
First some bad photos of the Strawberry Moon and a lovely pink but frosty dawn as I headed off to LL - my only non medical appointment for the week.
I have often said that my city is packed with public art. Due to the interminable work on our tram system one piece was moved out of the city to Lake Tuggeranong this week.
I like it's new position.
Here is "Dream Lens for the Future," a sculpture by Keizo Ushio, in its new home on the Lake Tuggeranong foreshore. The
sculptureframes the landscape through its circular form and allows for
close-up interaction.
