  1. Hi EC - you've got wonderful participants here ... and Mark's words really stretched us.

I just hope that those fires ease up for Australia and for you in the Canberra area ... take care and with thoughts - Hilary

    1. Hilary Melton-Butcher: I am so very grateful that so many people provide prompts to stretch us.,
The fires are still burning. Still out of control. I am pinning my hopes on some forecast rain. I do hope it arrives, and arrives in sufficient quantity to make a difference.

    2. I too do hope it rains a lot and that the fires can be got under control. It's is just so sad to see what's happening ... with thoughts - Hilary

    3. Hilary Melton-Butcher: Fingers and toes are tightly crosssed. The phrase this is the new normal has been tossed around. I hope not. I really, really hope not.

    1. Alex J. Cavanaugh: Neither can I. I have them, but don't look at the prompts until I prepare the posts. And, where Mark's prompts are concerned, I frequently wince. And whinge. And get to work.

    2. Haha!! I can't wait to see my next batch of words either! I'm like you, Sue. I haven't looked at them since the night I sent them all to you...

But, it's break time for me, so off to the River I run:)

  14. Always enjoy reading the stories created from the words. Lot of variety. :)

Hoping you are getting some rains and the fires are going out.

  15. Sorry I’m late in getting back to you, usual hospital visits, and thanks as ever for your support. Thin Time didn’t do as well as I’d hoped because I didn’t use a subtitle on the cover that would have helped people understand the meaning... (sigh)

    1. Sandra Cox: Thank you. That would be lovely. Sadly despite lots of predicted rain so far we are only getting dribbles. Small dribbles.
