Sunday Selections #614

Sunday Selections was originally brought to us by Kim, of Frogpondsrock, as an ongoing meme where participants could post previously unused photos languishing in their files.

Huge thanks to Cie who gave me this wonderful Sunday Selections image.

The meme was then continued by River at Drifting through life.  Sadly she has now stepped aside (though she will join us some weeks), and I have accepted the mantle.

The rules are so simple as to be almost non-existent.  Post some photos under the title Sunday Selections and link back to me. Clicking on any of the photos will make them embiggen.

I usually run with a theme. It is now 2023 here (though the New Year found her way in without any assistance from me).  This year (as I did last year) I am going to post photos of one of my interests/obsessions month by month from last year.  I adore skyscapes and have folder after folder of photos of them.

    1. Your sky shots are fabulous. I am always impressed with your sky. It has a pink and blue glow not seen here (at least not in my neighborhood). Have a safe and HEALTHY day and year. That includes Odie and Batty and your partner, too.

    2. Bleubeard and Elizabeth: Thank you for both the wishes and the compliments. This morning the sky is a soft and gentle grey. It is warm already though...

Much love to you and the wee lads and Himself. May 2023 be less angst ridden and pain ridden for you, and yes for me too, please.

  50. Dear EC. thank you for sharing with us a whole year's worth--month by month--of the Australian sunsets/rises. That apricot color that is so common to these photographs takes away my breath with its beauty. Happy new year and may it be a healthy one for both of us and may peace come to the defiant and hopeful citizens of Ukraine. They are inspiring the world--except maybe for Putin--with their fortunate and love of freedom. Peace from Dee and the cats.
