Sunday Selections was originally brought to us by Kim, of Frogpondsrock, as an ongoing meme where participants could post previously unused photos languishing in their files. Huge thanks to Cie who gave me this wonderful Sunday Selections image.
The meme was then continued by River at Drifting through life.
Sadly she has now stepped aside (though she will join us some weeks),
and I have accepted the mantle.
The
rules are so simple as to be almost non-existent. Post some photos
under the title Sunday Selections and link back to me. Sorry I still
haven't succeeded in working out how to do a blog hop. Clicking on any of the photos will make them embiggen.
I
usually run with a theme. Last week was difficult. I was weak and wobbly and for much of the week I could barely stand. However there was still colour and joy. And, fingers crossed, I am improving again. I owe several of you emails and will get to them.
Soon. This will be another busy(ish) week. I have medical and other appointments including one that I very much hope to complete. If I do I will post about it here.
The week after I will board the chemo train again with a myriad of tests/scans and appointments before the infusion itself.
Here's to colour and joy.
I really like the micro garden that has established itself on the rock in our bird bath. And now to vibrant splashes of spring colour with more coming out each day.
I hope we are all showered with colour this week.
Laura Eno - Loads of color everywhere! It must bring joy to your heart. I love the micro garden growing in your birdbath.
ReplyDeleteI’m glad you’re feeling a little better this week. The next few months will have its ups and downs but it’s all progress. Take care of yourself and get as much rest as you’re able, along with drinking in the beauty and solace that surrounds you.
Giant hugs and much love sent your way.
I hope the chemo goes well. I have two other friends that have started chemo recently. One did 5 rounds of it and has completed it and is now cancer free. I hope you have a similar outcome. Beautiful flowers.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to see you post, dear friend.
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are so cheerful and colourful. I'm glad this is your spring, with lots of beauty to sustain your spirit.
Sending love and moral support. And hugs. Keep swimming.
Quins colors més vius i més macos que ens regales avui!
ReplyDeleteM'encanta aquest micro jardí que tens a la roca del bany d'ocells, és fantàstic.
Olora i respira amb força i endavant!
Aferradetes, Sue.
I thought the first picture was your arm and hand and you had just scooped something out of the pond.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos of your garden, lots of spring, happy colors. Somehow yellow flowers always cheers me up, so thank you.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day.
