AAAARGH

A quick one.

My smaller portion is in surgery now.  He has a perforated bowel and things don't look good.  Much damage done apparently.

All digits crossed tightly.  Much fear.

  11. Thank you one and all. He came through the seven hour operation reasonably OK. Now a long slow recovery. Colostomy bag for at least three or four months, then another operation. Aaaaargh. And of course the doctor is unavailable to talk to me until between 7 and 9 am at the hospital tomorrow. So I will be there.
