This week I thought I would hunt up some of my photos from Argentina.
I adore those bright coloured houses, they are so fabulous. Wonder how my hubby would feel if we did that here :D
ReplyDeleteI love the street lamp and those colourful houses. My favourites are the waterfalls. I just love a water-trees combination.
ReplyDeleteLove the multi-coloured houses and the waterfalls (but who doesn't love water?!).
ReplyDeleteWhat a world of contrasts - guns, charming houses and those majestic falls!
ReplyDeleteThere is a melting pot of photos to choose from here. I vote for the mountain range and the waterfall both are nature at her most powerfull and spectacular :-).
ReplyDeleteArgentina was a mass of contrast. The falls were amazing - though the climate nearby vile (hot and sticky). And every town/city I visited had gun shops, and all the people were super friendly. The coloured houses were in an area of Buenos Ares, and were so cheery. Loved them. But they started life as an economy measure - using up left over paint.
ReplyDeleteI see that lady fi has stolen my comment. I was struck as well by the sheer contrast of the images and what it said about your memories of the place. A country of great beauty, history, passion and flashes of the eccentric and downright bizarre :-) I am particularly drawn to the waterfalls - such power and majesty. Though I'm also now singing "Don't cry for me, Argentina" after seeingt the first picture - lol!
ReplyDeleteThose falls look absolutely amazing.
ReplyDeleteDitto what River says :) The street lamp, colourful houses and waterfalls are my favs...
ReplyDeleteWhat a great variety of photos, which taken all together express something about the country. I especially like the photo of the coloured houses with the people outside. I began to imagine what it was like to be in that society and about how the people live.
ReplyDeleteLove the waterfal shots, just gorgeous :)
ReplyDeleteWhy don't we have those beautifully coloured houses in Australia? They seem to exist all around the world but not here :(
I was ooohing and ahhhing all the way then I got to the waterfall pics. WOW! how spectacular!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos - love the colourful houses and those magnificent waterfalls. The guns are kind of interesting as well given you don't see that here in Aus. Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful waterfalls. And I just love the lizards. They look fascinating. I'd really love to visit South America.
ReplyDeleteHello this is Oliver speaking I am verry pleased to meet yoo. Fanks for dropping by our blog the other day. Please say hello to Jazz and Jewel.

I love the coloured houses. And the street lantern. And the waterfalls. Well, everything I guess ;-)
ReplyDeleteAre they the Iguazu falls? Very beautiful, as are random reptiles and birdies.
ReplyDeleteIguazu falls they are. Truly amazing place. The birdies were vultures. Not certain what flavour the lizards were. There were also some AMAZING blue butterflies but I wasn't quick enough to capture them.
ReplyDeleteThe waterfalls are wonderful :)
ReplyDeleteI see we share a love of Evita. Those waterfalls just need a bit of tweaking -- have you seen this internet meme? It's bizarre but weirdly mesmerising:

Ampersand Duck: You are right about both the weirdness and the fascination of that link. Thanks
