Wet and Aggressive Corella challenges Magpie

Wet and Aggressive Corella challenges Magpie

Friday 26 July 2013

Its all gone a bit pear-shaped

I will be bowing out for a bit (again).

We are on our own again - which has some very big pluses.

However, the smaller portion's recovery is very far from smooth, in uncomfortable and unpleasant ways.
Clicking on this poor wet galah to embiggen him will reveal just what misery looks like

Courtesy of his sister I have a chest infection which is not (yet) responding to antibiotics.  Joy and bliss.

Recalcitrant bodies and minds are ruling at the moment.

I will be back when I can.

  4. That's no good at all, my friend; I hope you and the SP start to feel better soon.
I am on my second lot of antibiotics, plus steroids, for a stubborn sinus infection, so I have some inkling of how you feel. At least a virtual hug carries no risk of infection ;)

(I think that that is just the galah's normal expression!)

  5. EC I feel devastated for you both. Glad you are once only two but she could have left and taken that damned infection with her. Pity she didn't get some antibiotics and perhaps stop spreading the germs.
So sorry to hear the SP is having problems and hope the medical people can help.
I know you may not want to but is it possible to get some home help for a few days? Silver Chain or similar perhaps. I think you both need some assistance. I do worry so about you and am sending much love and as many positive vibes as is possible across this vast land of ours.
Poor wee galah....poor EC and SP. Not good. Get well, both of you, and hurry back to us.

  6. People who walk around sick piss me off to no end. They think their illness is only affecting themselves. There are so many people that have weakened immune systems and these horrible viruses can kill them. Very least, stay at home and don't spread it. Anyway...
Take care of yourself if you can. I know, easier said than done. Looking forward to your return. xo

  12. I hope you'll both be better soon. Is there someone who can look after both of you? It's hard when everyone in the house is unwell.

  13. Usually sharing is a good thing, but not in this case. Sister should have removed herself from the house. I hope you get better very quickly and the smaller portion's road becomes easier.
