Sunday Selections #479

Sunday Selections was originally brought to us by Kim, of Frogpondsrock, as an ongoing meme where participants could post previously unused photos languishing in their files.

Huge thanks to Cie who gave me this wonderful Sunday Selections image.

The meme was then continued by River at Drifting through life.  Sadly she has now stepped aside (though she will join us some weeks), and I have accepted the mantle.

The rules are so simple as to be almost non-existent.  Post some photos under the title Sunday Selections and link back to me. Clicking on any of the photos will make them embiggen.

I usually run with a theme. We had some blissful rain this week.  Pain and insomnia often get me up early.  On Friday I was looking outside just after first light and saw that autumnal colours were starting to 'pop'.

It wasn't raining so I thought I would improve the shining hour and walk the block, and continue the 'Teddy Bear Trail'.  So, as I so often say, come walk with me...

These bears and the moose and the otter in the next shots were sodden - but still out there doing their smile producing job.

I detect a Canadian connection here...

It wasn't raining when I started walking but it was windy and a tad chilly.  Before I got home again I had been rained on and sleeted on but I was smiling.

The rainbow sign - which I loved and the tired  and shy bears/puppies were all in the same house.

It might be Autumn, but parts of the garden are a tad confused.  Dandelions bloom all year round, but the anenomes and the paper white jonquils should not be blooming for months...  I hope that all of you find joy and colour in your week.  Stay well, stay safe.

And yes, I think those are ice crystals on the dandelion.
