Where are the Words for Wednesday?

Last month  lissa in my absence provided the prompts for which I thank her.

For complicated reasons including a home insurance claim I won't be back in the blogosphere for another couple of weeks.  Please bear with me.

This month River is providing the prompts on her blog.

Charlotte (MotherOwl)'s colour for the month is Saint Patrick's Green.

FEBRUARY:  lissa has offered to provide the prompts.  They will appear on her blog.

  Charlotte (MotherOwl's) colour is below.

And as I had a hard time deciding which of the delightful blues were best, you're free to use any that suits you.

Have fun. And yes, this is a scheduled post and I am still on my break.

Where are the Words for Wednesday 2023?

I cannot tell you how grateful I am that so many of you answered my plea.

We now have volunteers to provide the prompts for every month of next year.  Many people have stepped up again and we have some new volunteers as well - which is lovely.

Some of you suggested months that would suit you, and I have tried to fit you in.

At the moment, there are no 'left over' months for me, but if any of you are unable to provide the prompts for any reason let me know and I will step in.

At the moment the next year looks like this, subject to any changes you would like made.

JANUARY:  Sandi (a new volunteer) has not only offered to provide the prompts, she has already sent them to me!!!  They will appear here.

FEBRUARY:  lissa has offered to provide the prompts.  They will appear on her blog.

MARCH:  Susan Kane will provide the prompts.  They will be on her blog.

APRIL:  T Powell Coltrin  Teresa (another new volunteer) has offered to provide the prompts.  I am not certain whether they will be on her blog or here - and hope that she will let me know.

MAY:  David M Gascoigne is providing the prompts and they will be here.

JUNE:  Hilary Melton-Butcher is providing the prompts and they will be here again.

JULY : Charlotte (MotherOwl) is providing the prompts on her blog.

AUGUST:  messymimi is providing the prompts on her blog.

SEPTEMBER:  River is providing the prompts on her blog.

OCTOBER:  Sean Jeating is providing the prompts which will appear here.  He often plays, but has never provided the prompts before.

NOVEMBER:  Alex J. Cavanaugh is providing the prompts again and they will be here.

DECEMBER:  Wisewebwoman is providing the prompts on her blog.

If any of these months don't suit, please let me know in comments and I will try to arrange a swap.

Where are the Words for Wednesday?

October 2022:  River provided the prompts - for which we thank her.  They produced some amazing pieces.

November 2022:
Messymimi is providing the prompts on her blog.

December 2022:  Me again.  Here again.

Given that the prompts are provided from both the Northern and the Southern hemispheres the prompts can appear from as early as Tuesday your time until Thursday your time.

This meme definitely falls into the 'more the merrier' category.  I hope that lots of you will visit
whoever is providing the prompts and play - or applaud.  Commenting on other people's creations -whether they post them on the host's blog or their own, is hugely important.  We ALL need encouragement.  So please, take a few extra minutes to comment on the participant's creations.

Where has the year gone?   If this meme is to continue next year I would really, really like some assistance.  If you are able to provide the prompts for next year please let me know in comments, specifying which months suit you and whether you want to post them here or on your own blog.   I will post a schedule for the year as soon as I can.

Where are the Words for Wedneday 18/5/2022

This meme was started by Delores a long time ago.  Computer issues led her to bow out for a while.  The meme was too much fun to let go, and now Words for Wednesday is provided by a number of people and has become a movable feast.

Essentially the aim is to encourage us to write.  Each week we are given a choice of prompts: which can be words, phrases, music or an image.   What we do with those prompts is up to us:  a short story, prose, a song, a poem, or treating them with ignore...  We can use some or all of the prompts, and mixing and matching is encouraged.

Some of us put our creation in comments on the post, and others post on their own blog.  I would really like it if as many people as possible joined into this fun meme, which includes cheering on the other participants.  If you are posting on your own blog - let me know so that I, and other participants, can come along and applaud.

This month Wisewebwoman was going to provide the prompts on her blog.  For the first two weeks of the months her prompts (which challenged us all) appeared here.  From this week they will be back on her blog, and I do hope you will go and visit her - and play.
