I am ground down by the state of the world, my health, my life and the weather. It is all a bit much at the moment.
As I so often do I am taking a break from the blogosphere for February and probably some of March.
I hope you are all stronger and more resilient than I am.
I will focus on beauty and tackling some long overdue tasks and return in a bit.l

Essentially
the aim is to encourage us to write. Each week we are given a choice
of prompts: which can be words, phrases, music or an image. What we do
with those prompts is up to us: a short story, prose, a song, a poem,
or treating them with ignore... We can use some or all of the prompts, and mixing and matching is encouraged.
Some
of us put our creation in comments on the post, and others post on
their own blog. I would really like it if as many people as possible

The roos were in the shade and looked totally 'laxed so we left them be and made a small detour on the way home to a very colourful mural. The murals are on the side of one of our Water Company's suburban stations.
To add to our delight, most of the featured birds can be found in my city.

I usually run with a theme.
Charlotte (MotherOwl) has selected New Start Yellow as the colour of the month.
A quick look around our home said we have very little in that colour. A more considered looks says I am wrong (again). There is at least some of that colour about.
Himself has a mug with an eastern rosella on it too.

The sulphur crested vandals have a yellow crest.
Over the years we have collected discarded crest feathers.
We obviously do feature yellow, and as I wander round I see more and more of it. I hope you have a bright and colourful week.
