Sunday Selections was originally brought to us by Kim, of Frogpondsrock, as an ongoing meme where participants could post previously unused photos languishing in their files. Huge thanks to Cie who gave me this wonderful Sunday Selections image.
The meme was then continued by River at Drifting through life.
Sadly she has now stepped aside (though she will join us some weeks),
and I have accepted the mantle.
The
rules are so simple as to be almost non-existent. Post some photos
under the title Sunday Selections and link back to me. Sorry I still
haven't succeeded in working out how to do a blog hop. Clicking on any of the photos will make them embiggen.
I
usually run with a theme. I am still home. Yay.
I did (of course) have to make repeated trips to the hospital last week. However I also had to go into town which is where much of my focus is this week.
Doesn't this bear cry out to be hugged? It is in an area set aside for children in the hospital but this adult was tempted too.
I have featured The Big Swoop before. It was vandalised shortly after it was installed but has been repaired and is now back on display.
And a nearby mural - down an otherwise unappealing alley.
This coming week will be busy. I have multiple medical appointments and I think I start chemotherapy on Wednesday so I will be largely absent from the blogosphere. I hope your week is packed with colour and joy.
Los Murales me ha gustado mucho, tienen mucho arte. Me alegra ver tu nueva publicación.
ReplyDeleteUn abrazo.
VENTANA DE FOTO: Thank you.
DeleteLaura Eno - I’m so glad you got some outings that were enjoyable and a roo fix! An emotional buoy to counteract all the appointments.
ReplyDeleteLove the bear and I’m glad the magpie was repaired. The murals in your city continue to amaze me. All the color is beautiful!
Sending virtual stamina your way for the week ahead and lots of love as well.
Laura Eno: The trip into town was exhausting but I am glad I went. Aren't I lucky that my city is packed with colour and art?
DeleteVirtual stamina and love are more than welcome. Thank you.
Hi EC - I know I'll be thinking of you ... I'm so pleased you're able to get out and see some enjoyment and pleasure ... your garden will be growing. I think you've been having some rain, but perhaps it's further south - one of cricketers mentioned it!!. As you mention colour and art - always good to see and appreciate, then the roo fix by the lake ... also lovely to be able to get there and see the surroundings. All the best as this week goes ... thanks for being here for us - it's good to see you here and on my blog - for which thank you ... cheers Hilary
